Aching Lovers of the Sky

We Are the Stars of Our Beautiful Connections

As I watch the Sun and the Moon sharing the sky, weaving stories around themselves, I imagine them as lovers who are forever bound by a deep love. Yet they cannot be together because of the nature of their existence.

Every day they steal brief glances at each other, filled with appreciation.
Their love transcends time symbolising partners who understand the wisdom of letting go.

They are the unsung heroes of unrequited love. Heroes who show deep love and respect towards each other. Secretly still cherishing the moments they share before returning to their own paths.

Their love won’t take anything from them because true love only gives.

That’s why they appreciate and treasure their connections. Even if they seem to have nothing in common anymore. They know, they cannot be hurt. Because they didn’t give themselves up. They just gave up a relationship that continues to give them so much more this way. They might find new love, but the memory of their connection will forever last.
